The plaince wheelchaire systems were designed to help a professional clinician adapt a wheelchair to a patient´s body. The adjustment of footrests and the selection of the appropriate cushion are important steps to prevent decubitus ulceration. The pliance system supplies the necessary pressure information to aid the clinician in the procedure.

The general pliance data acquisition software operates in a Windows environment and contains many useful methods of data collection and scientific analysis of dynamic pressure. Features include: calibrated pressure values for each individual sensor element; Center of Pressure; 2D, 3D and isobar displays; force, pressure and area-time graphs.
