manugraphy Systems

The manugraphy® system* is an accurate and reliable system to measure the hand forces while gripping. For the first time it is possible to determine the force of each single finger and even the phalanges. The individual force contributed by each part of the hand – the finger, phalanx, or palm – is measured separately. These detailed information enable to achieve a truly objective biomechanical analysis of the hand.

Technical data for the manugraphy® analyser:

  • Number of sensors (max): 1,024
  • Measurement frequency: 20,000 sensors/second
  • Computer interface: USB
  • Power supply: external power adapter
  • Operating system: current Windows OS

Technical data for the manugraphy® sensor mats:

  • Number of sensors: 29 x 32
  • Scanned sensors: 22 x 32 or 29 x 32 (depends on used test cylinder)
  • Sensor resolution: 2 sensors per cm²
  • Size of one sensor: 7.07 x 7.07 mm2
  • Pressure range: 10 - 600 kPa
  • Thickness: approx. 1.5 mm

The manugraphy® sensor mats are wrapped around a specific test cylinder. The test cylinders are available with diameter 50 mm and 67 mm (incl. sensor mat).
